O MNIE

Nazywam się Łukasz Pater. Urodziłem się w Szczecinie i tu mieszkam. Swój pierwszy aparat fotograficzny kupiłem w wieku 16 lat. Był to analogowy Canon na film 35 mm, którego używam do dziś. W 2005 roku w moje ręce trafił aparat cyfrowy i wtedy też zaczęła się moja przygoda z Photoshop’em.
Zainteresowanie postprodukcją zdjęć przerodziło się z czasem w moją pracę. Zaczynałem jako operator DTP, obecnie zaś pracuję jako fotograf i retuszer. Specjalizuję się w fotografii i retuszu zdjęć reklamowych, aranżowanych, produktowych, packshot oraz na manekinie typu „duch”.
Moją drugą pasją są samochody, dlatego w wolnym czasie zajmuję się fotografią motoryzacyjną.
Podczas pracy szukam najlepszych pomysłów i narzędzi, aby cały proces, od wykonania zdjęcia do otrzymania końcowego obrazu, był jak najbardziej efektywny. Jednocześnie dążę do wiernego odzwierciedlenia cech fotografowanego obiektu. Dbam o detale, ponieważ to one mają ogromny wpływ na efekt finalny. Używam profesjonalnego sprzętu, a zdjęcia retuszuję na skalibrowanym monitorze graficznym, co gwarantuje najwyższą jakość.

My name is Łukasz Pater. I was born in Szczecin and this is where I live. I bought my first photo camera at the age of 16. It was an analogue Canon 35 mm film camera that I use to this day. In 2005 a digital camera came my way and that was when my adventure with Photoshop started.
My interest in postproduction has in time become my job. I started out as a DTP operator, while now I work with photography and retouching. I spesialise within advertising, arranged, product and packshot photography and retouching, as well as “ghost” photography.
My other passion is with cars. I spend my free time taking photos of cars.
I look for the best ideas and tools in my work, to make the whole process as effective as can be, from taking a photo to the final product. At the same time, my goal is to reflect the characteristics of the photographed subject. I have a high attention to detail, as I believe the details have a huge impact on the final effect. I use professional equpiment and tools and do my retouching on a calibrated graphic screen which guarantees the highest quality.
